Hon. Oladipupo Okeyomi popularly known as “Carry Go” has over the years created for himself a unique perchance for always making meaningful impacts within and outside his community. His actions which has solidly cemented his name as the right man for the office of the LCDA Ojokoro 2021 has furthermore endeared many to him.
Oladipupo Okeyomi, hailed from Ikare Akoko town in Ondo State, no doubt he is a rare breed of political class with a clear understanding of grassroots politics. His giant strides in philanthropy speaks louder than words of mouth. Okeyomi’s passion and commitment to humanity has earned him an unquantifiable dignity even among his equals.
Hon. Okeyomi is the president of Change Agent Foundation International and also chairmanship aspirant of Ojokoro Local Council Development Area (LCDA) under the platform of All Progressives Congress (APC), the gentleman is also one of the proud sons and good ambassadors of Yoruba race.
Just as he has always done, his recent activities in the community deserves great accolades he facilitated the giving out of scholarships to several students in his community.
The scholarship which was given out to the beneficiaries in cash is part of his contributions towards ensuring that each child from his constituency is given the much needed chance to pursue adequate and qualitative education.
The reactions from the parents of the beneficiaries gave a pure understanding of how much the gesture meant to them as they reeled out heartfelt prayers for their illustrious son.
One of the mother of the beneficiaries, while thanking Hon. Okeyomi resorted to prayers to show how much she appreciated him. In her words,” What you have done for us today beats our imaginations, may the heavens bless you and your family and may good things never depart from all that’s yours”
Adding to this, Hon. Okeyomi also saw to the donation of several students empowerment items to members of the Ojokoro Community,a move which he stated is aimed at the financial liberation of his people.
According to him,” We must continually work and dedicate ourselves to ensuring that our people are not only taken care of but are also helped to be self independent which can only be done through massive empowerment”
Unrelenting in his drive to giving his people a sense of belonging, the youths of the Ojokoro Community were given the privilege of partaking in the Okeyomi Community Cup where the participants and eventual winners went home with amazing prizes.
The Okeyomi Community Cup was organized as part of measures put in place to ensure that the youths are adequately and meaningfully engaged through sports.
Hon. Okeyomi has continued to prove beyond all reasonable doubts that he is determined to stand, defend for whatever he believes in, he is a man with ideas and visions to take Ojokoro to greater heights, he is ready to offer selfless service to the good people of Ojokoro LCDA when elected into the office as chairman of Ojokoro LCDA.
