The honourable member representing Ondo West Constituency 1 at the Ondo State House of Assembly, Hon. Tomide Akinribido, has felicitated Christians in his constituency on this year’s Easter celebration.
Hon. Akinribido in his Easter message congratulated Christians across his constituency, for witnessing this year’s Easter celebration and urged them to accentuate the reflection of the season by rendering selfless services to people around them-irrespective of religious affiliation and always promote peace and unity so as to strengthen our coexistence as an indivisible entity.
In his words, ” As we commemorate the death and the triumphant resurrection of Christ, I enjoin Christians to imbibe the teachings of this historical season which centres on love, peace, sacrifice and tolerance”
“It’s absolutely imperative that we use this period to pray against the worsening insecurity in the country and pray against the disintegration of Nigeria. I urge our religious leaders to use their Ecclesiastical office(s) to promote unity across religious divides, as the present challenges that are bedeviling Nigeria are surmountable” he said
