Member House Of Representatives Ilaje/Ese-odo Federal Constituency, Akinjo Kolade Victor has joined other well meaning Nigerians to condemn the high level of various challenges which is confronting the Nation.
The lawmaker who is also the Vice Chairman House Committee on Privatization and Commercialization stated this in an interview with newsmen in Abuja.
According to him, the legislature has always moved motions and passed bills to advance the interest of all Nigerians with all resourcefullness and energy but it’s however saddening to wonder how the nation got to its present state which has been marred with various challenges such as insecurity, corruption amongst others.
He further explained that these mirage of national challenges has made live unbearable for the common man and many Nigerians have started leaving the nation in droves.
He also stated that the nation cannot afford to continue like this as it poises great threat to the nation’s sovereign status.
He also called for Accountability on the path of public officials and agencies in the execution of their primary duties, he explained that many of these problems have lingered on for so long because public officials and agencies are not taking responsibility for their actions and inactions.
In his words, ” We cannot continue like this, we are voted by the people and we cannot keep quiet”
