VISIT EJIOBA HIGH SCHOOL ON CRIME RELATED ISSUES AND ALSO VISITED THE ONGOING ROAD PROJECT IN OBA-ILE TOWNSHIP ROAD

The immediate past commissioner for works and infrastructure in ondo state Hon. Saka Yusuf Ogunleye who is equally an indigene of oba ile community in Akure North Local Government where the incident took place visited the school authority.
The Headmistress of the school Chimola School expressed shock about the incident, she said and the helper was initially taken away but was later dropped along Ilesha road while the driver was dropped immediately when the school bus was snatched at a gun point, the driver and the helper are both in police custody for useful information and equally pray that the government should be proactive enough to rise to the issue of insecurity in the community.

In his reaction, the immediate works commissioner registered his displeasure and he equally assure the school authority of the meaningful measures been put in place by the Arakunrin Akeredolu led administration and the government won’t relent until lasting solution is been approach.

In addition, he also visited Ejioba high school where he met with the management of the school over the issue of insecurity in the school, the school not fenced and students took the undue advantage to commit crime, one of the students named Abayomi took another student to the stream within oba ile town and he attempted to strangulate him before he was cut by a Fulani herder, the school vice principal who is the chairman of the school disciplinary committee and the school Principal took time to explain the matter to Hon.Saka who later advised that the matter should be reported to the supervisory MDA and security since it was a criminal offense.

In the same vein, the immediate past commissioner equally visited the ongoing construction of oba ile township road at St.John Anglican Church road, the road is almost completed for commissioning as part of the project to be commission by Mr Governor in his 100 days in office.

While appreciating Mr Governor as a promise keeper that all ongoing roads projects will be completed, he also express that quality of job been carried out by the contractor handling the project and express satisfaction to the level of supervision and monitoring exhibited by the Honourable Commissioner for Lands and infrastructure, Engr. Raimi Aminu.
