Group Commends Sen. Tolu Odebiyi for Good Legislative Strides

The Ogun State Group Alliance has commended Senator Tolu Odebiyi, Senator representing Ogun West Senatorial district ( Yewaland) for his positive contributions to the Legislative and Democratic Processes in Nigeria.

The group made this known in Abeokuta the Ogun State capital through its spokesperson, Mr. Akinlade Samuel, according to him, Senator Tolu Odebiyi has over the years shown his commitment and unrivalled dedication to the advancement of his Senatorial district through due legislative and Democratic Processes.

The group commended the Senator for sponsoring various bills in the Senate which has gone a long way in advancing the growth of his people.
As a Senator, Senator Tolu Odebiyi has been able to sponsor numerous bills in the red chamber, among these bills are

A bill for an Act to establish the National institute of Border Studies in Imeko Ogun state
A bill for an Act to amend the National youth service corps Act No:51 of 1993 and for other matters related therewith
A bill for an Act to establish the chartered institute of administrators `and registrars of Nigerian Universities.
A bill for an Act to alter the constitution pf the federal republic of Nigeria, 1999 CAP C23 Laws of the Federation of Nigeria 2004 to make provision for change of name of the area referred to as Egbado in Ogun State to Yewa as contained in Part 1 SEC 3[1] of the constitution of the federal republic of Nigeria 1999 [as amended]
Recently the highly proactive Senator Tolu Odebiyi on the 14th of April 2021 on the floor of the house sponsored the bill for an act to provide the establishment of the National Burns and Rehabilitation Center Ilaro, Ogun State. According to him, the purpose of the bill is to ensure that there is a facility to provide intensive treatment and rehabilitative needs of burns victim and to train capable hands in the treatment of burns related injuries

The group while commending Senator Tolu Odebiyi stated that they are ever ready to support and ensure the continuity of his led representation in the Senatorial district
