GOVERNOR AKEREDOLU SETS TO COMMISSION THE NEWLY RENOVATED HOUSE OF ASSEMBLY COMPLEX.
Following the massive reconstruction that took place at the Ondo State House of Assembly Complex,Ondo State Governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu (SAN) will commission the Complex on Wednesday 1st of December,2022.
The Speaker,Ondo State House of Assembly,Rt.Hon.Oleyelogun Bamidele David, announced this during a plenary sitting today at the Complex.
While expressing appreciation to the Governor through the Speaker,the lawmakers, said the present administration has completely changed the face of the Assembly Complex by providing them a conducive and befitting Hallowed Chamber.
Oleyelogun later constituted an adhoc committee for the commissioning which was headed by the Deputy Speaker of the House,Rt.Hon Samuel Aderoboye.
Meanwhile,a bill for the amendment of year 2022 Appropriation law and that of 2023-25 Medium Term Expenditure Framework (MTEF) were committed to the House Committee on Finance and Appropriation after sailing the second reading.
Also,a bill to provide for a law to provide for the establishment of the Ondo State Security Trust Fund(ODSTF) and other connected purposes 2022 has been committed to the Committee on Security for scrutiny.
Plenary was later adjourned till Tuesday,29th November,2022.
