Former President Goodluck Jonathan has hailed Dr. Kingsley Kuku on the occasion of his 52nd birthday anniversaries. The immediate past president of the country joined a host of other important personalities to eulogize the former Special Adviser to the President (Niger Delta Affairs) and former Chairman, Presidential Amnesty Programme, Dr. Kingsley Kuku who he described as a very important asset to his people and the nation at large.
According to a press release which was signed by him, he commended Dr. Kingsley Kuku for his selfless contributions to the development of the Niger Delta Region, in his words, “Your tenacity and courage as a youth leader and dedication to the cause of our people when you served as the Chairman of the Presidential Amnesty Program and Special Adviser on Niger Delta earned you a place in the history of our nation”
Also, Member of the Federal House of Representatives, Hon. Mayowa Akinfolarin also applauded Kuku for living a life worthy of emulation as he has showed the qualities of selfless leadership and commitment to his people, while the Executive Governor of Bayelsa State, Senator Douye Diri also described him as a visionary and patriot who has high dreams for the Ijaw Nation.
Chief Timi Alaibe, the Former Managing Director of the NDDC also commended him for his brave contributions to the development of the region. According to him, “Hon. Kuku is a quintessential gentleman, a generous and giving fellow who is also one of the greatest gift of his generation”
Similarly, some of the students who the students who were sponsored by Dr. Kingsley Kuku also appreciated him for his contributions towards ensuring that they have a better reality. According to them,”when there’s little or no hope for them, he stepped in to offer them a lifeline, one which has given them a new lease of life”
