Engineering Students of the Federal University of Technology Akure have commended the Rotimi Akeredolu led administration in Ondo State for its commitment to opening up the state for more industrial growth through the establishment of the Ore Industrial Park (OIP)
The Students made this known during a field trip to Ore Industrial Park (OIP) on the 11th of February 2022 where they were led round the facilities by the Site Manager of the Industrial Facility, Mr. Kehinde Betiku
According to the team led by Epaphras Akanbi, the establishment of the Ore Industrial Park in the State is one which has in no small measure given hope to many youths in the State of the commitment of the state government to ensuring that there are viable job opportunities for its youths.
According to them, the rising case of unemployment in the state and nation at large can only be addressed when both public and private stakeholders in the nation begin to invest more in the industrial revolution of the nation.
According to them,” What we have here no doubt has the capacity to create wealth for our people and it’s a delight to see that the Ondo State Governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu SAN is working in the right direction”
The Project Manager of of the Ore Industrial Park (OIP) Engr. Julius Adegbola while addressing the Students enjoined them to take opportunity of the massive opportunities which the industrial park has to offer.
According to him,”Ore Industrial Park is an investment destination with unlimited opportunities and benefits, youth in Ondo State must key into this by leveraging on these numerous benefits to advance themselves and the State at large”
