In a scathing condemnation of recent baseless allegations circulating in the media, the Ondo Integrity Group has vehemently refuted claims made by a faceless group regarding the purported declaration of Lucky Aiyedatiwa as the acting governor of Ondo State.
The faceless group irresponsibly accused minister of interior Dr. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo as the mastermind behind this alleged move.
Ayodele Akinwande, the leader of the Ondo Integrity Group, emphasized the falsity of these assertions, denouncing them as utterly devoid of any truth or substance.
In a press release issued on Monday, Akinwande stated: “These allegations are completely false and unfounded. The Ondo Integrity Group maintains a firm commitment to truth and transparency, and we categorically refute these baseless claims.
“It’s a sheer sense of irresponsibility to drag the honorable minister of Interior, Hon. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo into their unwholesome endeavors as he hold no connection to what he is accused of.
“While we urge the honorable minister not to be mind these faceless group, we encourage him to continue his excellent work as a minister of the federal republic of Nigeria.
“He has distinguished himself a worthy representation of the state and we as an objective group won’t encourage any form unwholesome attacks against him.”
The group further emphasized its dedication to upholding integrity within the political landscape of Ondo State and urged the public to disregard such misleading and fictitious reports. Akinwande affirmed, “We stand firmly against misinformation and urge all citizens to rely on verified sources for accurate information concerning political affairs in our state.”
