The failed road infrastructure denting the image and standard of one of the legacy schools in Yewa land, the Egbado College, Ilaro is gradually becoming a thing of the past as the Senator representing Ogun West Senatorial District in the National Assembly, Sen. Tolu Odebiyi has commenced the construction of the school road and refurbishment of the dilapidated school fish pond to the delight of the school stakeholders.
Blazing this trail, the Ogun West Senator has received massive commendation from politicians, market women, Royal Fathers and Students for his robust representation, selfless service and support to education in his Senatorial District as a first timer in the Red Chamber.
According to Sen. Odebiyi he said that, “We are putting street lights on the road when completed as well as refurbish the school fish pond. We will also create an Aquaculture Club for Students who are willing to explore that area of science.”
Transforming the school, recall that Sen. Odebiyi has constructed and equipped the school ICT Centre, with a 30KVA sound proof Generators. He has renovated and equipped the girls and boys residential hostels as well as provision of toilets facilities. He also renovated and furnished the classrooms in the school.
The Senator who is also the Vice Chairman, Senate Committee on Federal Capital Territory is determined to continue to bring back the lost glory of Egbado College, Ilaro and particularly other schools in his Constituency as well as render selfless service to Yewa land.
