The encomiums were unending as members of the Ojokoro community trouped out en-masse to appreciate Hon. Oladipupo Okeyomi popularly known as “Carry Go”
Hon. Okeyomi had earlier reeled out to the members of the Ojokoro community scholarships to the several students, empowerment items to the people as well as organizing a community cup for the youths in the community.
All these are parts of efforts put in place by Hon. Okeyomi to ensure that the people of the community are adequately taken care of and are also given a chance to advance their lives as individuals and communally.
While thanking Hon. Okeyomi, one of the mother of the beneficiaries, Mrs Aribisala Ruth in her words of gratitude expressed her happiness and joy.
According to her,” Hon. Okeyomi has once again surprised us, he has shown to us that we mean a lot to him. I never expected this, none of us here ever expected it”
Unlike others who would come here and make empty promises, he has fulfilled what he promised and I am grateful.”
Another of the beneficiaries named Arogundade Johnson also stated that,” The funds given to me today will go a long way in helping me pay for my tuition fees, the funds indeed came at a better time as we are resuming back to school tomorrow, may God bless Hon. Okeyomi”.
Responding to the people, Hon. Okeyomi stated that it’s always been part of his commitment to always see and ensure that the people of Ojokoro community are adequately taken care of and represented.
While advising the beneficiaries to be diligent in their studies, he promised the people of the community of his continual readiness to always fight for the good of the community.
