Ekiti PDP: Again, Senator Olujimi Empower Constituents
The beneficiaries of the face two of the Mrs Biodun Olujimi, the senator representing, Ekiti South Senatorial district couldn’t hides their joy as they received items ranging from Motorcycles, Refrigerators, Gridding Machines, Sewing Machines and Cash gifts amongst others.
Speaking with Encyclopedia Gist popularly known as Omo-Imam, it’s was gathered that the beneficiaries who gathered together from across the six local governments of the Senatorial district affirmed that the Leadership of Senator Biodun Olujimi in Ekiti State was not controversial and not contentious, they however prayed that God sustains her unrelenting quest to sustaining qualitative leadership in the national assembly and Ekiti state in particular.
Mr Adeife who’s the current chairman of ward 9 in Ekiti Southwest Local government said, “myself and entire members and Executives of my local government are overwhelmed by the legendary gesture displayed today by our senator Biodun Olujimi and we will continue to be grateful to her”.
Another beneficiary, Mrs Bosede Dada from Emure local government of the state who couldn’t hide her tears of joy express gratitude to the female senator while saying, “politics isn’t about mouth louding but leadership is about who gives more, who contributes more, who leads the way and express compassionate of others.”
In her earlier address, Sen Biodun Olujimi admonished the beneficiaries to seize the opportunity to contribute to their respective locality. Stressing further, she said her commitment to human capital development was informed by the love showed to her by her constituents devoid of political affiliation. She however pledge to remain dogged in her fight against any trait of undemocratic tendencies which could bring about lawlessness, injustice and any form of oppression by anyone within and without the People’s Democratic Party in Ekiti State.
Meanwhile, the state People’s Democratic Party Chairman, Hon Kehinde Odebunmi, commended the effort of the Senator for being a true Democrat; saying; “it’s a wonderful achievement by senator Biodun Olujimi and first of it’s kind and we are highly elated. An Empowerment whereby over 1500 citizens of Ekiti State benefitted from. We are very happy that we have the caliber of senator Biodun Olujimi in our midst, it’s worthy of commendation than condemnation. He said.
