EID-MAULUD: A Time for Joy, Togetherness, To Show Love as One People, Oyerinmade Urges Ondo Muslims

Leading Senatorial hopeful for Ondo South Senatorial District, Matthew Oyerinmade (MATO) has sent greetings to all Muslim faithful in Ondo State on the occasion of the birth of Prophet Mohammed (PBUH).

In his message to the Islamic faithful allover Ondo State on Tuesday, Oyerinmade discribed today’s celebration of the birth of the Prophet as a time for joy, a time for togetherness and a time to show love to one and others as one indivisible people of Almighty Allah.

“My warmest wishes to all our brothers and sisters in Islam on this solemn festival of Eid- Maulud. May the blessing of Allah fill your life with peace, joy and good health.

“At this special time, I pray that Allah accepts your good deeds and sacrifices, alleviates your sufferings, and forgives your transgressions.

“ALHAMDULILLAH, Allah Subhanahu Wata’ala has made it possible for us to witness another Eid Maulud this Year 2021 again, as we celebrate this day, May Allah in His infinite Mercy forgive us all our sins and bestowed His sweetest blessing on everyone of us and our families.”

Oyerinmade also used the occasion to greet the Governor of the State, Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, SAN, his wife, Betty Anyanwu-Akeredolu and all the cabinet members, praying that the true spirit of this auspicious occasion abounds and fills their hearts with happiness and great fortune to deliver more purposeful dividends of democracy to the people of the Sunshine State.

He however, enjoined Islamic clergymen, Imams and Alfas to pray feverently for the State and Nigeria as a whole for “God to guide and gaurd our leaders to do what is right for the citizenry at all times, with the unlimited favour and immeasurable grace of Almighty Allah.”
