Eid-el-Fitr: Gboye Adegbenro calls on Nigerians to Imbibe Tolerance, Patriotism

On the occasion of the celebration of the Muslim festival of Eid-el-Fitr across the world, Engr Gboye Adegbenro felicitated with the muslim faithfuls and called on Nigerians to imbibe tolerance and patriotism.

Engr Gboye Adegbenro said “I felicitate with all Nigerians, especially the Muslim Ummah, on the occasion of this year’s Eid el-Fitr, which marks the completion of the Ramadan fast”.

“I congratulate Muslims in Nigeria and around the world on the successful completion of this month-long spiritual journey of fasting, prayer and almsgiving in obedience to the Divine Command” he said.

In his charge to Muslims, Engr Gboye Adegbenro called for tolerance and respect in the nation irrespective of tribe, religion and political leanings, in the quest to build a strong and united nation.

Engr Gboye Adegbenro tasked all Nigerians, to use the season to promote national integration, saying “Eid-el-Fitr is a time of love and goodwill. It gives us a message to love all and hate none.”

Speaking further, Gboye Adegbenroi said “Despite numerous challenges in the country, hope is not lost”. “Only tolerance stronger sense of patriotism and love for one another will help the country surmount her present socio-economic challenges”.
