Eid Al-Fitr: Agboola Ajayi Greets, Urges Muslims To Consolidate On The Gains Of Ramadan.
Former Deputy Governor of Ondo state and prominent Peoples Democratic Party’s ( PDP) aspirant in the coming Gubernatorial election, H E . Agboola Alfred Ajayi has congratulated the Muslim faithfuls in the State for witnessing the end of Ramadan, even as he wishes them a successful Eid Al-Fitr celebration.
Ajayi, in a statement issued and signed by the Spokesperson of the Agboola Ajayi Campaign Organisation,Samuel Ogunmusi, in Akure on Tuesday , urged the people of Ondo State and Nigerians, especially the Muslims , to consolidate on the gains, teachings, knowledge, perseverance and honesty practiced all through the period of Ramadan by making them permanent features of their lives.
“I felicitate with the good people of our dear State on the auspicious occasion of Eid Al-Fitr, which marked the conclusion of the Holy Month of Ramadan, the statement read.
Further, Ajayi said “Eid Al-Fitr is a day of joy and thanksgiving to the Almighty Allah ( SWS) for the blessing of witnessing the completion of Ramadan”
He added that this has enabled the people to experience a great sense of spirituality and closeness to the creator, insisting that “we must uphold the teachings of the Holy Month of Ramadan and imbibe them as we pray for a better Ondo state”
” Ramadan was a good avenue for the spiritual fortification of our state in an electioneering period”
Speaking further, he said “throughout the Ramadan period, we practiced honesty, perseverance, humility, gentleness and peaceful nature of Allah ( SWS) while we remained prayerful.”
” For the gains of the holy month to manifest in our state and Nigeria , I implored that our character in the holy month is maintained, as those are the character traits we need to ensure our state transforms from it’s present precarious status, to one with genuine hope, under a Agboola Ajayi led PDP government in Ondo State achievable by Allah’s (SWS) willing and by your mandates”
