The Media Adviser to Prominent Politician and APC chieftain, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu has responded the various Rumors flying around the Country that the former Governor of Lagos State and Leader of the All Progressive Congress (APC) has tested positive to the novel virus, Covid-19 and that he has travelled out to France to seek treatment.
According to the Media Adviser,” If you must know, we have done COVID-19 test 15 times, each time he felt we had travelled and mingled with many people and could be vulnerable even though he always wore his face mask, but he has been certified negative 15 times. Yes he is abroad. Not in France, but in London resting. So you can see the falsity in that information you talked about.”
He vehemently enjoined the member of the public to desist from using unverified news channels, he stated that the peddlers of these rumors are nothing but unscrupulous elements who wants to cause confusion among the people. According to him, “Asiwaju is very okay and is not sick”
