There is so much yet to be explored about the enormous Nigerian Events and wedding industry. With an estimated 20 billion dollars’ worth, the Nigerian events space is transcending the barriers of economic shocks and statistics. There is an average of 20,000 events happening per month in Lagos state alone and thousands of weddings per time. You could never run out of content, even if you tried; in real life and on social media.
Interesting as this may all seem, something new and different is happening in Ondo state this time around as Beauty & Bride, Nigeria’s first wedding industry expo, launched Face of Beauty and Bride (the pageant and awards) on the 16th of May 2021. This event was designed to recognize the various vendors and all the other component units that make for any successful event.
CSI Events Media bagged the Events Company of the year award for their amazing work in Events Experience and Management. CSI red carpet, over the years, has blazed the trail in Events Experience with an array of innovative ideas that bring your dream events to reality. From top-notch red carpet experience to electrifying After Party games and activities, CSI already sets the pace for switching it up when it matters most.
Always a good sight to witness a well-deserved reward for quality and the consistency of it. The night did not just end on that note as Toyosi Ayeleso, Partner and Brand strategist at CSI walked out with the Personality of the Year plaque at FOBAB 21.
After all was said and done, Face of Beauty and Bride 2021 turned out a hit with everyone involved. Memories were created and relationships established. Brands doing the real work in the industry were recognized and it only gets better from there. It would be safe to say that even bigger strides would be made in progressing the industry on the long run.
