HON. OLUBUNMI TUNJI-OJO: THE TALE OF A DIVINELY ORHESTRATED ROMANCE BETWEEN A REPRESENTATIVE AND THE ELECTORATE
The romance between Hon. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo and the good people of Akoko North East/North West Federal Constituency has continued to take new heights, one which seem more to be divinely orchestrated and fashioned.
It is a beautiful love story between a representative who was duly elected and anointed and the people who gave their mandate because they truly believed in him and what he has to offer.
He came with a plan, a beautiful one at that for the good people of the Federal Constituency, he came with a pure heart, a humbled spirit and the readiness to deliver and the people in all their consciousness saw through him, and they found a man who they can trust and give their all.
Three years along the line, the holy matrimony has continued to birth wondrous and brilliant achievements, one which many would no doubt describe as highly unprecedented.
For a region which was considered under-developed with nothing to write home about, the emergence of Hon. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo brought beauty and goodness for them, for a land which could not afford to raise its voice among its contemporaries, the led representation of Hon. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo gave them a voice, a towering loud one at that.
It is not a surprise to see other communities clamor for a man like BTO as fondly called, it is not a mystery to see other political aspirant in other constituencies in their various campaign use Hon. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo as a reference point for good representation.
It is not a mystery that the people would jointly demand for the return of their representative who has risen to become a dear son of the land, one who has found a space in their heart.
As against the narrative where candidates would be running from pillar to post all in a bid to secure a second term, it is the people who are doing all they can to ensure the return of BTO. The recent donation of a cheque of Ten Million naira to BTO to collect the Nomination and Expression of Interest Form is one which in no small measure shows the gratitude of the people towards their elected lawmaker.
This shows that BTO is not just a name, it a movement, one which is passionately fueled and inspired by the people who have experienced and witnessed good governance and proper legislation.
At this point, it would be suicidal to go against the will of the people, BTO is the chosen one, it is not the head that chases the crowd, but the crowd that chases the head. Hon. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo is truly the anointed of the people.
