#BRICKLAYER ALLEGEDLY HIT WITH #CHARMS DIES AT #PARAGA JOINT IN ADO EKITI

A middle aged bricklayer, simply known as Mr Jimoh has been allegedly killed by some youths around the popular Tayo Olokada house, in Irona area of Ado Ekiti, the Ekiti state capital, during a fight aftermath of an argument at a bar.

The lifeless body of the middle-aged man was found early Sunday morning at the junction where he was allegedly attacked by the suspected killers, who some people, who spoke under the condition of anonymity said must have been beaten by charms.

There was no sign of blood or injury on his body, but a broken bottle was seen around his left hand while the shirt he was putting on was torn.

Roundoffnews gathered that the man was killed during a fight which occured at a paraga joint in the area operated by a lady.

The deceased was said to be involved in a hot argument with some youths drinking together at the joint over an issue which later degenerated into a fight from where he was allegedly hit with a charm which led to his death.

Witnesses said the corpse of the bricklayer, was initially taken away from the scene by his family members, but on realisation of the after effect without informing the security agencies quickly return the corpse the the crime scene and alerted the police at the Ekute division of the Nigeria , Ekiti State Command, who came to evacuate the remains of the deceased from the scene of the incident with their van.

Roundoffnews also gathered that the owner of the paraga shop and two other suspects have been arrested by the division.

When contacted the Public Relations Officer of the Ekiti State Police Command DSP Caleb Ikechukwu said he has not been properly briefed by the Ekute division DPO and promised to get back to newsmen after getting briefing from the concerned division.
