Presidential Aspirant, Dr. Doyin Okupe has announced his decision to withdraw from the 2023 Presidential Race.
The Two term Presidential Spokesman revealed this through a press statement signed by him on the 30th of March, 2022.
While citing reasons for his decision to withdraw from the race, he explained that he was stepping down for Mr. Peter Obi who he believes is the best aspirant for the presidential office.
He also stated that it’s high time the PDP gives its full support to the South East to produce the next president of the nation.
While identifying Mr.Peter Obi, he stated, “I therefore,here and now proclaim that I am, as I have said publicly several times, withdrawing from the presidential race and I am declaring my support for the best aspirant not only in igboland, but in Nigeria as a whole.
He also enjoined other presidential aspirant from the south to team up with Mr. Peter Obi for the presidency
