Ayedatiwa is eminently qualified to govern Ondo State- Alake
A Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress in Ondo State, Mr Wale Alake has said that the governor of Ondo State, Hon. Lucky Orimisan Ayedatiwa is eminently qualified to be the governor of Ondo State
Alake, in a press statement personally signed by him on Friday explained that he is the most exposed among the other aspirants, noting that he had been a Deputy Governor, Acting Governor and a Substantive Governor, who has represented the state several at both internal and international engagements.
He stated that he decided to give all his support to Gov. Ayedatiwa because he has the experience and exposure to turn around the economy of the state
“What attracted me to the governor is because he belongs to my generation and I know him well enough. He has character, contentment and sterling qualities that stands him out”
Alake jeered at those peddling unbounded rumours and outright falsehood, that he doesn’t have the support of Abuja
“Attempting to beat the incumbent in a primary election is an uphill task even if he were a child”
“I understand too well that the ticket is not in Ondo State but in the kitty of APC National/Presidency as an institution but neither the President or the leadership of the party will want to rock the boat knowing fully well that opposition is waiting by the corner to benefit from our slightest mistake. They’re all seasoned politicians and they know better”
“The past events surrounding his ambition suggest that he’s ordained by God to lead the
State” Alake said
He added that Aiyedatiwa the man to beat in this election.
“I don’t see anything that suggests HE Lucky Ayedatiwa will not win both the primary and general elections seamlessly”
“If the President decides not to make himself available to aspirants about now, it’s quite understandable as the father of the party and to at least suggest neutrality”, the statement reads
