AKOKO REPS BYE-ELECTION: GOV AIYEDATIWA RALLIES SUPPORT FOR APC’S IFE EHINDERO

Ondo State Governor, Hon. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, on Thursday led the final campaign rally of the All Progressives Congress (APC) ahead of Saturday’s bye-election into the vacant seat of Akoko North East/North West Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives.

The Governor joined other leaders of the party to campaign for the candidate of the party for the election, Mr. Ife Ehindero, at a massive rally held at the Cenotaph in Ikare Akoko, Akoko North East Local Government Area.

Other leaders of the party present at the rally included the Deputy Governor, Chief Olayide Adelami, Chairman of the APC in the State, Engr. Ade Adetimehin, former Deputy Governor, Alhaji Lasisi Oluboyo, Senator Jide Ipinsagba, Chief Olusola Oke, Otunba Gbenga Elegbeleye and Chief Gbenga Ale, among others.

Ahead of the rally, the Governor and his team had paid homage to the Olukare of Ikare Akoko, Oba Akadiri Momoh, and the Owa-ale of Ikare Akoko, Oba Adeleke Adegbite-Adedoyin.

At the royal courts, Governor Aiyedatiwa introduced Ife Ehindero to the monarchs, seeking their blessings and support for the APC candidate.

Received by an enthusiastic crowd, the Governor led the party’s rally round the ancient city, urging the constituents to throw their weight behind the party’s candidate in the election.

In his address to the crowd at the rally, Governor Aiyedatiwa delivered a passionate plea for unity and solidarity among constituents, emphasizing the importance of their collective support for Ehindero and the APC.

Encouraging voters to turn out in large numbers on election day, Governor Aiyedatiwa underscored the pivotal role of grassroots mobilization in securing victory for the party.

Engr. Adetimehin and other stalwarts of the party who spoke at the rally thanked the Governor for his support for the campaign and urged the people of the federal constituency to show their support for the Governor by voting for the party’s candidate.
