Member of the Ondo State House of Assembly, Akoko South West Constituency 1, Hon. Akogun Olugbenga Omole as part of activities lined up to celebrate his birthday anniversary has reached out to Muslims in Oka, the Ondo State with Foodstuffs to commemorate with them on the occasion of this year Ramadan Fasting.
The lawmaker whose Birthday is Today 30th of April stated this he found it necessary to identify with the Muslim Community as they observe the Ramadan Fast.
100 Households are benefiting from this gesture.
Akogun enjoined Muslims in the State to use the Ramadan Fast to intercede for the State and Nigeria at Large
Recieving the Items, the Chief Imam of Oka, Alhaji Mohammed Abubakar appreciated the lawmaker for his good gesture while also extolling him for his good virtues as he wished him a long life in good health
Also the Chief Imam of Oka-Akoko, Alhaji Mohammed Abubakar stated that Hon. Akogun has proven himself worthy of being called a good ambassador of true representation in the State.
In his words,” Akogun has never disappointed us in Oka since he was elected into the House of Assembly. Even before he got to the House he has been very generous”
The religious leader also encouraged the lawmaker never to relent in doing good for his community and the nation at large
