The Ondo State Governor Arakurin Akeredolu has been specially commended not only for the crop and quality of Permanent Secretaries, he recently appointed from the Public Service of Ondo State but more for the number he had boldly appointed within the last four years.
The commendation was made by no less a person of Pastor Ola Amuda, a retired Public Officer from the State Service and a former Aide to late Dr Olusegun Agagu.
Amuda while speaking to Journalists after the innauguration of the newly appointed Permanent Secretaries, on Wednesday gave kudos to the Governor to have appointed a total of seventy five (75) Permanent Secretaries within a period of four years in office is no mean acheivement.
He also commended the Governor for the number of Women to have been so appointed, to which his wife is a beneficiary..
According to him ” I also commend Arakunrin for the number of women so appointed. And my family shall forever be grateful to the Governor for the honour done to us on the appointment of my wife as a Permanent Secretary in the State Public Service. It is an uncommon privilege”
“Given this prodigous elbow room of the appointment of so many Permanent Secretaries made available to the Public Service by the Governor among other good things , I wish to encourage the New Permanent Secretaries as well as all Public Servants in the State to re-double their efforts to making Aketi Second Term in Office a success”.
