A Board Member of the Apostolic Faith Church in West and Central Africa (WECA), Reverend James Tifase has sent good wishes for a fast recovery of the Ondo State Governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu saying Jesus is the Great Physician that can heal all manner of diseases
He said God sent Jesus to save the world and pay for the healing of the redeemed “We Send Mr. Governor heartfelt prayers for his speedy recovery”.
Tifase in his sermon titled: “The River of the Living Water” at the 60th Anniversary of the Apostolic Faith Church, Ondo and Ekiti States held at the Auditorium of the Church in Akure, the Ondo State Capital said there is power in the blood of Jesus that can heal diverse diseases through the flowing river of living water.
Representing the District Superintendent of the Apostolic Faith Church in West and Central Africa, Reverend Isaac Adigun, Tifase who quoted from the Holy Bible in Isaiah 44:1-2 said the River of the Living Water is the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
It was an atmosphere of thanksgiving at the Apostolic Faith Church in Akure, Ondo State capital to mark its 60th anniversary.
The programme was attended by clergymen from across the country as their messages were full of exhortation and appreciation to God.
According to him, many have been benefitted immensely from this Living Water in terms of Salvation, Sanctification, Baptism of the Holy Ghost, healing, provision, guidance and protection and so on.
Tifase quoted from Ezekiel 47:1-12, John 7:37-38 said that the living water of the Gospel of Jesus Christ flew to Ondo and Ekiti States through the Apostolic Faith Church in 1963 and prayed that lt will continue to flow in our lives.
He noted that the Great River (the Gospel of Jesus) gives satisfaction, peace of mind, heal all manner of diseases saying that all ruined lives will be restored.
“To drink from the living water that Jesus gives, only requires belief in Jesus, confess your sins, forsake them and believe in the blood of Jesus.Only the Lord Jesus can quench our inner thirst; only He is the living water., he said.
Earlier, the Secretary to the Ondo State Government (SSG), Princess Oladunni Odu had urged the church and the people of the state to intensify prayers for the quick recovery of the State Governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu.
Odu thanked the leaders of the church, choir members and the congregation saying that “Your prayers have been a smoothing balm to Mr Governor saying that government will continue to promote religious harmony in the state.
