A philanthropist, Dr Muyiwa Daramola empower his People through his NGO.

A Medical practitioner based in USA, and a great philanthropist, Dr Olumiyiwa Daramola has empower several numbers of people Running to hundreds from Okitipupa and irele local government areas of ondo State with different empowerment programmes targeted at raising the standards of living of the people from long time neglect and sufferings.
This he has been doing for some years back even without any political undertone through his NGO, Dr Olumiyiwa Daramola Foundation.
Recently ,he ,Dr Daramola doled out several empowerment items worth over N50 million to his People as part of efforts towards making his people economically viable and self reliant.
The presentation of the items which include, Construction and commissioning of Several Bore holes in Ode Aye, Irele ,, Ikoya and Erinje, Empowerment for over 200 widows which include Grinding Machines, Generators, Clothes, and over 5 million Naira cash to set up small scale businesses, which was flagged off in the presence of All the Traditional Rulers and chairmen of the 2 local government in Okitipupa/Irele Federal Constituency.
The Abodi of Ikale Land who speak on behalf of the Obas, Eulogize and , commended the Young man for the launch of the empowerment program for the benefit of his people .
In the same vein, The NGO also embarked on registration of over 40 students for NECO, Donations of Deworming Drugs to Six primary schools across the two local governments , Donations of School materials to Six Schools across Irele and Okitipupa Federal Constituency. He also donated Artificial Leg to an Indigent person in Irele LG and Grant him scholarships for the rest of his education.
He also donated school uniforms to four secondary schools namely comprehensive high school, Ode Irele, Akotogbo community High school Akotogbo Stella …marris and Methodist secondary schools in Okitipupa LG.
He later proceeded and had a foundation laying of Orphanage home at Okitipupa to serve the people of that communities.
The chairman of Irele local government in Irele, who also spoke at the ceremony said Irele is a strong hold of Apc and urged the people to keep faith with the party and commended him for the empowerment program.
Dr Muyiwa Daramola who spoke at the ceremony said, the event was another milestone in his efforts to raise Standard ,confidence and quality of lives of his constituents and expressed appreciation to the people for their unflinching support and commitment to good governance headed by Governor Akeredolu in OndoState. .
He said; “We are gathered again in honor of my people. I have been doing this even when I never plan to venture into politics. In my past empowerment programs, several families were established and uplifted economically. He therefore advised the people to make the best use of the empowerment materials and others.
Today’s program marked another step in the direction of enhancing the living standards in Ikale communities. I charge all the new set of beneficiaries of the program to make judicious use of the items to grow their economic fortunes and values”.
The director Generalof the NGO, Hon Afolabi Iwalewa, said his decision to empower his people was born out of his Principal ‘s desire to contribute more to the development of his people stressing that our people must be living well and enjoy dividends of democracy.
Hon. Afolabi Iwalewa, A chieftain of the APC Party, and A former Member of the Ondo State House of Assembly, appealed for the support of his people to the APC government especially the Akeredolu Led government in Ondo State , saying “we can never disappoint you. I therefore urge you to shun rumour mongering, blackmails, pull him down syndrome and bitterness against one another. Opposition parties have no place to operate in Ikale land”.
He called for continuous support for Aketi’s led government, stressing that the administration has made lots of positive impacts on the lives of Ondo State people
