The lawmaker representing Owo/Ose Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Abuja, Hon. (Dr.) Otunba Timehin Adelegbe has congratulated Chief Rotimi Ibidapo (BASSEY) on the conferment of the national honour of the rank of Order of the Niger(OON) on him by the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, President Muhammadu Buhari.
While congratulating the Owo born business man, who has contributed to the development of Owo Kingdom and the state at large, Adelegbe expressed satisfaction that the honour was timely and well deserved considering the impacts and legacies of Chief Rotimi Ibidapo not only in Owo Kingdom, Owo and Ose Federal Constituency, Ondo State but across the Nation.
“The award of the Order of Niger on Chief Rotimi Ibidapo, an illustrious son of my constituency, considering his impacts and legacies in promoting the Constituency and Ondo state at large, can be described as a round peg in a round hole, and in all ramifications, a welcome development”.
While congratulating the Oil Magnate, the Okeluse born politician therefore urged the recipient to see the national honours as a call to double his efforts in the development of the Constituency and the Nation as a whole.
“You must see this honours as well deserving and it is a clarion call on you to increase your contributions and efforts in the development of Owo Kingdom and the Nation at large. You must strive to increase your participation in national development”.
Finally, the Banker turn politician urged Chief Rotimi Ibidapo to be a good ambassador of Owo Kingdom,Ondo state and Nigeria at large.
“You must always strive to be a good ambassador of the Nation as you are now a recipient of the National Honours”, Hon. Adelegbe said.
