Ahead of 2023 General election, a business tycoon,Pastor Jide Ipinsagba has paid homage to Akoko North West Local government All Progressives Congress (APC) Executives in Ondo state.
Jide Ipinsagba is a serial entrepreneur, political enthusiast and astute businessman with histories of running successful Multinational companies.
While speaking at the party Secretariat of All Progressives Congress (APC) in Okeagbe, Pastor Ipinsagba thanked the people of Akoko North West for trooping out to come and give him a rousey home coming.
He assured them of adequate representation that will bring massive development to ondo North senatorial district.
He stated that he was spurred to join the race due to the current developmental drive in Ondo State under the leadership of Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu and the good works Hon. Dr
Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo is doing in Akoko North Federal Constituency and beyond.
“I am out to make sure that Ondo North Senatorial District is giving a rapid development. But, I have no power of my own to do this except with God and the good people of Akoko North federal constituency .
“Let me say here that if I am your Senator come 2023, Ondo North senatorial district will witness rapid and monumental transformation that will cut accross board .
In his Address, an APC Chieftain in Ondo state who hails from Okeagbe, Evangelist Olumuyiwa Asagunla, Odofin OGBOYE of Affa Okeagbe stated it categorically that It is the turn of Akoko North federal constituency to produce the Senator to represent us at the Red chamber bearing in mind that Ondo North senatorial district have 3 federal constituencies, Owo/Ose, Akoko South federal constituency and Akoko North federal constituency.
According to him, Owo/Ose has had 12 years at the Red chamber, Akoko South West/Akoko South East Federal Constituency will be rounding up its 12th years while Akoko North West/Akoko North East Federal Constituency had one and 1/2 about 42 years ago.
“For fairness, equity and fare play, it is the turn of Akoko North West/ Akoko North East Federal Constituency to produce the next Senator to represent Ondo North.
“Since Akoko North West precisely Oyin/Oge ward represented us at the Red chamber the last time, we were privileged to represent Ondo North at the red chamber. it can now be narrow down as the right of Akoko North East as our mother local government to take the lion share that is the Senate, moreso that we have a performing Member House of Representatives in person of Hon. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo from Akoko North West”, he explained
Asagunla however said what the people of Akoko need now is a “politically exposed person” who can network and bring rapid development to the Ondo North Senatorial District .
“We want exposed person to lead us this time around”, he added.
In his address, the Chairman of the APC EXCOS in the Council, Mr Obanla Kehinde said Hon. Jide Ipinsagba is a well-known person in the Ondo North Senatorial District as his contributions towards the development of the area is recognized by the people of the state.
Obanla noted that Hon. Jide Ipinsagba should emulate the good work of BTO if elected to be the senator representing the district in the Senate.
Another leader of the party Hon.Aladetimehin who spoke at the visit said Pastor Ipinsagba will attract more infrastructural development to Akokoland just as Member of House of Representatives in Akoko North Federal Constituency, Hon. Olubunmi Tunji Ojo (BTO) is currently doing now.
The Leader stressed that Tunji-Ojo has performed beyond their expectations and they felt the only way to repay him is to reelect him as their representative again in 2023 saying that there is nothing like rotation agreement between Akoko North East and Akoko North West.
