2023: Northern Groups Endorse Osinbajo for Presidency

Fifteen Northern Youth Groups have endorsed the candidacy of Vice President Yemi Osinbajo to contest the next presidential election in Nigeria come 2023.

The Group’s which was led by Alhaji Tukur Hamza as its spokesperson stated that even though Vice President Yemi Osinbajo is yet to openly declare his interest in the 2023 Presidency, Nigerians Firmly believe in his credibility to take over from incumbent President Muhammadu Buhari.

Alhaji Tukur Shehu also stated that it will send a delegation to meet with President Muhammadu Buhari with their resolution and request for Prof. Yemi Osinbajo who is not just a capable and well suited individual for the job, he has also proven himself to be a loyal and unbiased figure who the North can trust to be fair and just in managing the Nation’s federating units.

The group also through its spokesperson revealed that the inability of its National Leader, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu to attend the last Local Government Election in Lagos State due to his lingering health issues is another reason why they have decided to opt for a more viable and energetic candidate.

According to him, “Asiwaju Bola Ahmed is a national asset to the party and Nigeria at large, his legacies will be forever with us, however he must ensures that he crowns his legacy by ensuring the emergence of Prof Yemi Osinbajo as the nation’s next president”

Also Dr. Kayode Ajulo revealed after his trip to Jalingo, the Taraba State Capital that the Popularity of Professor Yemi Osinbajo has continued to grow stronger as more youths groups have started to come out to identify with him while also urging him to declare his interest in the next presidential election in the Nation.

While addressing Newsmen after his trip, Dr. Kayode Ajulo stated that he will ensure the proper mobilization of more youth groups and supporters in the Southern region to support and mobile others for Prof. Yemi Osinbajo for Presidency
