Many within our socio-political space will definitely agree that the people of Akure South/North are political conscious people who are very much interested in their political affairs. They are a set of people who long to have qualitative leadership and progressive administration and this is because they believe that Akure as the State Capital has so many potentials to become a global city; one which can boast of the features of a mega and global city.
And if we must achieved the aforementioned, the place of polity is one which we cannot overlook, the seat of the Federal Representative, representing Akure South/North Federal Constituency at the Green Chamber which was left vacant as a result of the demise of the late Hon. Adedayo Omolafe is one which we must not only dutifully fill, but also rightly and competently fill with the right individual.
This is why we must bring quality to the table, we must bring a man who is seasoned with ideas and innovations, this is not the time when we need to bring on individuals with little or no achievements, we have a huge task before us to ensure that we protect the significance of this seat by electing a candidate with a proven track record.
While over 10 candidates have already expressed their interest at contesting this seat, considering their records, personal qualities and their level of commitment, Akure South/North Federal Constituency needs a man like Prince Ademola Adegoroye, a true progressive, one who has been described as highly proactive and committed to human and community development.
He brings to the table what no other candidates brings, and this is an unparalleled drive to deliver quality, he is a son of the soil, one who understands the culture of the people, over the years, he has stayed with his people, wined and dined with them; he has always been involved in the political activities of the state and has over the decades followed the socio-political development of his people hence he knows where the shoe pinches.
He fully understand the assignment before the next elected candidate to fill the vacant seat and he is more than enough, ready to take the bull by the horn in order to do the needful. Akure has all it takes to thrive and succeed, what we need is a strong, experienced and willing hands to steer the reins, he is no push over, he is qualified to take the Constituency to a new and greater height, however for this to happen, we as a people must give him the mandate to serve.
if this is done, we can be res assured that under his leadership, a new Akure will emerge, one which is well positioned to become an emerging global city in the South West.
