Following the success of the 2021 Triangle News Magazine International Awards in the United Kingdom, the prominent media house is set to host this year’s edition in the UK.
According to the Publisher of the Magazine, Otunba Femi Salako who is currently on a Tour in the United Kingdom, the 2022 edition, which is the 2nd anniversary of the award, is scheduled for December.
He also added that the award would be celebrating notable Nigerians who have contributed immensely to development and growth of the nation in their respective fields.
Otunba Salako explained that the media house would honour Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun as the Best Governor on Infrastructure Development 2022; African Development Bank(AfDB) President, Akinwumi Adesina, is to be awarded the Best Financier of Grassroots Micro, Mini, Medium Enterprise for Poverty Reduction; Chairman, Nigerian Diaspora Commission, Abike Dabiri-Erewa is to be honoured with the Triangle International Best Prompt Foreign Affairs Intervention Award.
Also the Nigerian High Commissioner to the United Kingdom, Ambassador Sarafa Tunji Ishola is to be awarded the International Diplomatic Icon of the year while the Chairman, National Drug Enforcement Agency, General Buba Marwa(retd) is to be given the International Antinarcotics Warlord Award.
