Senator Tolu Odebiyi awarded Grassroots Leadership Awards
The Senator representing Ogun West Senatorial District in the National Assembly, Sen. Tolu Odebiyi has added another award to his many laurels and encomiums he had received in the last two years.
In an event organised by the National Assembly Legislative Aides Forum, NASSLAF (SouthWest Caucus) held at the Fraser Suites, Central Area in Abuja, yesterday night, Monday, 22nd March, 2021.
The award tagged Distinguished Legislative and Grassroots Leadership Award was given to the Ogun West Senator, in recognition of his commitment to the growth and development of his Constituency, his sterling and leadership qualities in the last two years as a Senator.
Presenting the award to the Senator, who is also the Vice Chairman, Senate Committee on Federal Capital Territory (FCT), the Chairman of NASSLAF, Mr. Abiodun Apantaku said, Sen. Odebiyi has demonstrated beyond any shadow of doubt that he is a People-Oriented Senator as he has always championed the cause of his constituents.
While singling out Sen. Tolu Odebiyi as an outstanding Senator, Mr. Apantaku noted that the Forum celebrates Senators and Honorable members with excellent leadership qualities and have made positive impacts in their communities.
Present at the event were Deputy Leader of the 9th Senate, Sen. Ajayi Borofice, Senior Special Assistant to the President, Sen. Babajide Omoworare represented Vice President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo SAN, several House of Representatives members and the Sergeant At Arms, National Assembly, Air Commodore Sam Zakari (Rtd).
