Foremost and Prominent Legal Practitioners Remi Olatubora SAN and Dada Awosika SAN are set to join the highly silk league of the Senior Advocate of Nigeria.
The duo were awarded the title of a Senior Advocate of Nigeria, a title which is awarded as a mark of excellence to Members of the Legal Profession who have distinguished themselves as Advocates and Academics.
Alongside 70 other Lawyers, the Legal Luminary will officially be awarded this highly exalted title.
Remi Olatubora was called to the Nigerian Bar in the year 1993 after having successfully completed his barrister at law (BL) programme at the Nigerian Law School Lagos.
In the year 2006, he obtained his Master’s of Laws (LL.M) degree from Obafemi Awolowo University,Ile-Ife, Osun State, Nigeria. Also in the year 2017, he successfully completed his Master’s of Philosophy of Law (M.Phil.) degree in Obafemi Awolowo University Ile-Ife Osun State, Nigeria.
Adding to his numerous feats, he served as the Attorney General of Ondo State Nigeria from 2016 to 2017. He has written many books on Nigeria Law, famous of such books are:
- Electoral Law and Practice in Nigeria (2006)
- The Petition of Dr. Olusegun Mimiko and issues in Nigerian Election Law
- Election Litigation in Nigeria (2015).
Remi Olatubora SAN. is a member of the European Society of International Law (ESIL) and the Nigeria Bar Association. He also teaches Constitutional Law and Legal Research Methods in Elizade University, Nigeria.
Also Dada Awosika SAN, is an astute Senior Legal Practitioner in Nigeria and is currently the Managing Partner of D.A Awosika and Partners LLP. He commenced his Legal Practitioner in 1996 with the firm of Prof. A.B Kasunmu SAN’s Chamber.
He is one of the leading Copyright counsels in Nigeria and a fervent Advocate of Liberalization of the Collective Management Organization within the precincts of the Copyright Act.
