One of the two Senators from the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Ondo State is set to decamp from the party to the All Progressive Congress (APC).
Presently, the Senator Akinyelure Patrick Ayo representing Ondo Central Senatorial District and and Senator Tofowomo Nicholas Olubukola representing Ondo South Senatorial District are the two Senators of the PDP in Ondo State.
According to our source who pleaded anonymity, one out of these two Senators is currently considering decamping to the All Progressive Congress. It’s further revealed that this is as a result of a unresolved issue between the senator and the party’s leadership who are not willing to allow him run for a second term in office.
Also it’s been also revealed that his chances of securing a second term ticket in the APC if he were to decamp is slim as there are many other influencial candidates seeking the party’s ticket
