Okupe writes Momodu, sets Record Straight, Clarifies Political Affiliations
Former Presidential Spokesperson, Dr. Doyin Okupe, has written an open letter to a prominent chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Dele, addressing various issues and setting the record straight on his political affiliations and stance on the current administration.
In the letter, Okupe commended Reno Omokri’s response to Dele’s article, describing it as a “masterpiece” filled with unassailable facts and demonstrating a deep understanding of the issues at hand. He also clarified his role in past administrations, stating that he only served as an adviser in the Obasanjo and Jonathan administrations, and not in the Yaradua administration as Dele claimed. Okupe defended his associations with Bukola Saraki and Peter Obi, comparing them to Dele’s current association with Alhaji Atiku Abubakar.
