Kuku Receives Heroic Welcome At Arogbo Kingdom
Dr. Kingsley Kuku was on Thursday given heroic welcome by the obviously over joyous people of Arogbo-Ijaw kingdom in Ese-Odo Local Government Area of Ondo State.
Kuku paid a surprise visit to his birth place of Arogbo-Ijaw after eight years sojourn abroad. The visit also coincided with the 2023 Arogbo Day celebration. Upon his arrival at the community, the former chairman of the Presidential Amnesty Programme (PAP) went to the First Baptist Church to give
thanks to God for making it possible for him to reunite with his people after eight years sojourn abroad. It would be recalled that building of the church was facilitated by Kingsley Kuku eight years ago.
Meanwhile, the arrival of Kuku at the venue of Arogbo Day celebration immediately got atmosphere of the event electrified. The former Amnesty chairman practically stole show at the event as the youths kept chanting his praises until he had to plead with them to allow continuation of the event.
However, the physical presence of Kuku at the Arogbo Day celebration came as a pleasant surprise because no prior notice of his visit was given. The presence of Kuku also added glamour to the event as the people were very pleased to see and welcome their outstanding benefactor to the Kingdom once again.
