In a gesture of profound generosity and solidarity, business icon High Chief Benjamin Olomidegun paid a courtesy visit to HRH Olori Olufunmi Oluyede and family during the ongoing 7-day burial rites of her late husband, His Royal Majesty Alayeluwa Reverend Ajibola Oluyede. The day’s event, which was marked by a novelty football match saw High Chief Olomidegun make significant donations in millions of Naira.
High Chief Olomidegun awarded ₦1 million to the winners of the match, allocating ₦50,000 to each of the 15 players and an additional ₦200,000 to their coaches and referees. The second runner-up received ₦500,000, with each of the 15 players earning ₦25,000 and the officials receiving ₦100,000, amongst others.
In a further display of his magnanimity, High Chief Olomidegun generously allocated ₦500,000 officials and security personnels present at the event.
In addition to his financial contributions, High Chief Olomidegun sent a cow to the Royal family, reinforcing his support during this period of mourning. He also promised to visit the family with his entourage daily until the conclusion of the burial rites, showcasing his unwavering commitment to the family and the community.
