Hon. Bode Obanla Inaugurates Advisory Council for Ondo North Senatorial District
At a well-attended event held at BON Royal Parklane Hotel in Ijapo, Akure, Hon. Bode Obanla, Senior Special Assistant to Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa on Community Engagement for Ondo North Senatorial District, inaugurated an Advisory Council for his office. The event marked a significant step in enhancing community engagement and addressing the needs of the district.
The newly-formed Advisory Council is chaired by Hon. Timehin Adelegbe, a member of the National Assembly representing Owo/Ose Federal Constituency. During the inauguration, Hon. Adelegbe personally received the report from the recent Community Engagement exercise, which was conducted under the supervision of Bode Obanla and his team. In his remarks, Adelegbe commended the team’s efforts, describing the exercise as unprecedented in the political history of Ondo State.
In his address, Hon. Obanla emphasized that the report reflects the true wishes and concerns of the 67 communities visited across the district. He expressed confidence in Governor Aiyedatiwa’s commitment to addressing the needs and requests of these communities, as outlined in the report. The inauguration of the Advisory Council is expected to further strengthen the government’s engagement with local communities and ensure that their voices are heard at the highest levels of decision-making.
