Campaign of calumny against Akeredolu will fail
The Ifesowopo Development Group, Owo has condemned the attack on the Majority Leader of the Ondo State House of Assembly,Hon. Oluwole Emmanuel Ogumolasuyi on the 27th of April, 2022.
The group through its spokesperson, Mr. Ayodele Akinsanya explained that the attack was sponsored by Chief Isiaka Elegbenrenban and Alhaji Dojumo who he described as political merchants who seeks nothing but to soil and discredit the name and person of the lawmaker.
According to him, ” If there is anything we know Hon. Ogumolasuyi for, it’s his large heartedness, and kindness which has made me one of the best performing lawmakers in Ondo State.
“His development strides amongst his people are highly commendable, talk about his donation of free jamb forms for students in the Constituency or the empowerments of both the young and the old”
Mr. Akinsanya who described the attack as a shameful plot by those involved also explained that, the attack further proves that the members of the opposition sees Hon. Ogumolasuyi as a threat to their selfish political aspiration which is to secure power at all cost.
It was also said by Mr.Akinsanya that those who sponsored the attack are envious of the fact that Hon. Ogumolasuyi enjoys a solid relationship with the Ondo State Governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu. SAN.
In his words, ” Even during the last meeting of the Governor with Political Aspirants yesterday, 26th of April, 2023, the governor was full of praise for Hon. Ogumolasuyi who he described as a performing lawmaker in the State.
