The All Progressives Congress Presidential Campaign Council (APC PCC) has set up a media and publicity committee in Akoko North West Local government area of Ondo state.
Already, solidarity rally has been flag-off in the Akoko North West started from Ward 1 and 2 for Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and all other APC candidates
The rally will cover all the towns and villages in the 10 wards in the local government.
Speaking at the inauguration, the Director, Media and Publicity Akoko North West Local government, Hon. Ifeoluwa Ehindero promised that the committee would give maximum publicity to Tinubu/Shattima and other APC candidates in the area
According to him, members of the media and publicity committee were carefully selected and are calibre of individuals who are committed to serve the party at the grassroots level.
Ehindero said “as we are all aware, Tinubu and his running mate Kashim Shattima were former governors, we have seen their giant achievements in their respective states and we want them to extend the great works they have done to the entire country
He went on: “Sincerely speaking, there could not have been a better time to get this critical committee up and running than now when 2023 general election is around the corner”
The working structure is made up of eight (8) different working units with a well spelt duties and functions attributed to them. Each unit’s members would work as a team while the collection of the units work together to achieve the set up goal of the directorate.
The units are: Content Creation Unit, Graphic Designing Unit, Reporting Unit, Photo Journalism Unit, Story Writing Unit, Editorial Board, Mobilization Unit and Advance Team Unit
However, in his address at the solidarity rally, the Chairman of the APC in Akoko North West Local government, Hon Kehinde Obanla said the rally was organised to galvanise support for Bola Tinubu, the party’s presidential candidate and other APC candidates in the council.
Obanla added that from the massive participation of the people at the rally, the people of Akoko North West are fully ready and willing to vote for all APC candidates, especially Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
“Tinubu is a knowledgeable man, a fair-minded nationalist who has a very strong belief in the unity of this country and strength of character and purpose to steer the country forward”, the Chairman said.
Also, while speaking, Chief Rasheed Badmus, a former Commissioner in the state said APC presidential candidate is the preferable candidate, adding that Tinubu is a visionary and has all the man stroke and professionalism to continue to develop Nigeria.
“I am calling on the good people of Ondo state and Nigeria at large to consider voting Tinubu who among all the presidential candidates has the best chance of securing victory in the 2023 general elections,” Badmus added.
