Akure South/North Bye Election: Why Hon. Alarapon Adebayo is the best fit for the Job.
When duty calls, it is important that we call on men of high repute, unblemished character and resounding passion to deliver, circumstances beyond man’s doing has left a very sensible and important office to be filled in Akure North/South Federal Constituency as the State prepare for a bye-election, one which has been necessitated by the recent and unfortunate demise of the late Hon. Adedayo Omolafe.
While the search continues for a viable candidate to fill this space, it is important that we thrust our mandate to the one who the majority by all means finds capable, one who will not only match the achievements set by the departed Late. Hon. AdedayoOmolafe, but also achieve more.
Considering the various arrays of names who has come to indicate their interest to contest the Akure North/South Federal Constituency bye-election, none comes closer to Hon.AlaraponAdebayo David, a well-focused politician with a clear and genuine sense of purpose. By all description, he is a man of undisputed character, trustworthy and ever reliable in the cause of service to society and humanity.
He is a true son of the soil who over the years has continued to live for his people, contributing and channeling his efforts for the greater good of his people. As many would describe him, he is a silent achiever whose antecedents speaks highly for him. His calm and highly reserve yet proactive personality ranks him unique amongst his contemporaries.
He comes with a wealth of experience having served as a special assistant to the then Governor of Ondo State Dr. Olusegun Mimiko in the year 2013-2014, he was later appointed the Caretaker Chairman of Akure South Local Government for three consecutive times totaling eighteen months.
His tenure as the Caretaker Chairman of Akure South Local Government would see him create a solid relationship built on mutual respect with the good people of Akure South Local Government and this would eventually exalt him to the position of the Chairman of the Local Government.
He is a loyal party member, and on numerous occasions he has proven himself a dutiful and committed member of the People Democratic Party both in the State and at the National level, it would be recalled that having lost the party’s ticker to the late Hon. Adedayo Omolafe in the year 2019, he went ahead to throw his full weight behind him, standing by him all through the campaign process, till victory was attained.
With his hands on board, steering the affairs of AkureSouth/North Federal constituency, there is no doubt that the previous achievements of the late Hon. Adedayo Omolafe will not only be consolidated on but the federal constituency will see more growth and development in all its sectors.
