Allegations Against Faboyede And Adams Are Mere Rambling Epistle – PDP Group
A group within Ondo State Peoples Democratic Party, the PDP Advocacy Forum (PAF) has described the allegation of anti- party activities against the former State Chairman of the party, Engr. Clement Faboyede and his deputy, Alhaji Fatai Adams as a mere rambling epistle.
The group contended that the
allegations against the duo of Faboye and Adams were written by two commissioned writers of PDP chairmanship aspirant, Dennis Alonge -Niyi who is said to be on a desperate mission to promote himself and discredit his opponent in the forthcoming congress of the party.
The purported petition which the
State Coordinator of (PAF), Shadrach Olaniyi further described as an aimless litany was titled “Ondo PDP And The Merchants of Our Collective Destiny : Clement Faboyede And Fatai Adam’s Anti-Party Activities; A Call For Action”.
The PDP Advocacy Forum has advised that authors of the purported petition are cheap blackmailers that should not be taken serious by members of the party. Olaniyi described as ironical the fact that the same individual that pitched tent with Alhaji Ali-Modu Sheriff in the time of crisis and worked against the collective interest of the party had suddenly turned round to accuse innocent people of what he is actually guilty of.
Meanwhile, Shadrach Olaniyi has described as wicked and completely untrue the allegation that Clement Foboyede and Alhaji Adams worked against the interest of the party during the last National and State Assemblies elections. He said, “These are concocted allegations from a wicked heart. How come the then Chairman did not use his position to favour his preferred aspirants if this allegation has any iota of truth? How come OPA and Wale Ogunleye couldn’t win their local government during the last election if they were actually sabotaged in other local governments as alleged in the petition. They are just blackmailers,” Olaniyi queried.
Similarly, PAF has also described as concocted the allegations that Clement Faboyede and Fatai Adams short changed the party with the millions of dollar released for election and traded the interest of PDP for monetary gains during the State House of Assembly election.
“It is satanically wicked of these blackmailers to have alleged that Engr. Faboyede and Alhaji Adams short- changed the party with the millions of dollars meant for election. Who released the millions of dollars and do they even know the naira equivalent of millions of dollars? It is wicked for them to have accused innocent people of
betraying our party when it mattered most. As a matter of fact, those that have committed treachery are the ones accusing others of what they are guilty of. Members of PDP in Ondo State are wiser now and will not fall for the orchestrated deceit to sell a product that is difficult to market”, emphasized Olaniyi.
