A prominent member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ondo State, Oluwasanmi Saka Lawal, has formally announced his resignation from the party. Lawal, who hails from Ese/Afin Ward 9, Constituency 2 in Akoko North West Local Government Area, tendered his resignation on Tuesday, 25th November 2025.
His notice was addressed to the Ward Chairman of Ese/Afin Ward, with copies sent to the PDP Akoko North West Chairman and the State Chairman. In his brief letter, Lawal stated that his decision takes immediate effect and expressed best wishes to the party members he is leaving behind.
“I write to inform you of my resignation from the party, effective immediately, as of 25th November 2025. I wish you and the party members I’m leaving behind the best of luck in your future endeavours,” he said.
