FELIX ALE RECOUNTS ENCOUNTER WITH KENYA PRESIDENT, SAYS AIYEDATIWA IS BEST CANDIDATE FOR ONDO GOVERNOR
A very distinguished son of Ondo State and Foremost Communications expert, Dr Felix Ale has described the Ondo State Governor, Mr Lucky Aiyedatiwa as a very humble and unique personality who should be supported and honoured with massive votes by the great people of Ondo State in the forthcoming gubernatorial elections.
Dr Felix Ale made the remarks while recounting his experience with the President of Kenya,Mr Williams Ruto at the just concluded 79th session of United Nations General Assembly in New York in United States.
The Media expert who is currently the Director Media and Corporate Communications of the Nigeria Space Agency said, the Kenyan President on sighting him at the United Nations headquarters broke the presidential protocol and walked straight to him for exchange of pleasantries as a friend and brother.
He said this gesture was publicly displayed by President Ruto to the admiration of other World leaders and eminent personalities at the United Nations headquarters.
The gesture exhibited by the Kenyan President according to him was a rare mark of honor and respect from people in such high offices or exalted positions.
He said a lot of such personalities avoids friends and relatives in the name of protocol, saying most of those friends and relatives ordinarily would have been on ground most times to share good advice, suggestions or information that can assist for good governance.
Dr Ale who was one time Chief Press Secretary in Ondo State said in his experience in the Sunshine State, both in and out of government at the state level,there are two leaders that are blessed with such high level of humility as exhibited by President Ruto in the corridor of power in Ondo State.
The two personalities according to him are Former Governor Olusegun Mimiko and the incumbent Governor, Mr Lucky Aiyedatiwa.
The media expert said Dr Olusegun Mimiko will break protocol anytime, anyday to accord you great respect and honour as a friend when he held sway as executive Governor of Ondo State with his regular handshake and usual greetings “Gbasibe”.
He said, Mr Lucky Aiyedatiwa had also demonstrated this rare attributes severally ever since he got to know him when he Dr Felix Ale was in Akure as book reviewer at the public presentation of a special book in honour of Aiyedatiwa late boss, Arakunrin Odunayo Akeredolu.
The Spokesperson of the Nigeria Space Agency explained that personalities with such great attributes and qualities in the corridors of power are rare and do not disconnect themselves from the people, both low and high, particularly the electorates.
Dr Ale noted that the Ondo State Governor has really inspired him with his humility and simplicity, saying these are unique qualities that have really endeared him into the heart of the people both in and outside Ondo State.
He said, Lucky Aiyedatiwa will listen to you anytime and accord you your due respect at any occasion be it in Ondo State or outside the state.
This is basically the general impression of people about the Governorship candidate of the APC in Ondo State.
The communication expert announced his endorsement of the candidacy of Lucky Aiyedatiwa as the most suitable personality for the exalted Governorship position of Ondo State in the forthcoming elections, particularly at this point in time.
He called on the great people of the Sunshine State to come out in large number to honour Aiyedatiwa with their votes, assuring that the Ilaje born politician can not be a disappointment to them.
He said ,Ondo State requires the likes of Lucky Aiyedatiwa for the good will of all and sundry as part of strategies to rally support from both in and outside the state to effect meaningful development and good governance in the Sunshine State.
Dr Ale maintained that the humility and simplicity of Aiyedatiwa are second to none, adding that most leaders that have excelled in the position of authority are those endowed with qualities and attributes that serves as points of attraction and reverence to the people.
Aiyedatiwa has no doubt positioned himself to the outside world as a great man of honour and candour saying his personal experience and feedback from people about the Ondo State Governor are testimonies to this assertion.
Leaders with great attitude are regarded as great minds, assets and rallying point to their people while those with bad attitude are easily disgusted, isolated and portray their people in very negative manner.
According to him, Aiyedatiwa by all standards has demonstrated himself through his revered and respected attitude as a good ambassador of the sunshine state.Hence the great people of Ondo State should honour and challenge him more with their generous and massive votes in the coming elections.
