The suit was brought by concerned citizens who are lawyers basically to prevent further breakdown of law and order in Lagos State under the guise of Endsars or whatsoever particularly as we draw near to general election, everywhere is tensed and care must be taken with manner with which political parties and their supporters goes about promoting their candidates.
On the 10th of August, 2022 the supporters of Obi and Labour Party put up a well circulated publication to undertake a rally on the 1st of October, 2022 titled #obidatti forward ever rally to converge at Lekki toll gate which this same people already name #Endsars arcade.
We have sued the Labour Party and it’s candidates, Lagos State government, lcc and Security agencies to ensure the planned rally does not hold as same may cause another crisis on state. We are seeking a restraining order of court in this regard
