Reason why Akinfolarin drops out of Senatorial Race
Hon. Mayowa Akinfolarin has explained that he had to opt out of the on going senatorial race because of the overwhelming pressure one which he attributed to the various compromised of the electoral process.
In a statement provided by him, he stated
“As the Senate Contest in the south senatorial primary stands, it is obvious from the look of things that the process has been over controlled which negates the principle of free and fair election. Therefore, on this note, Hon Mayowa Akinfolarin hereby declines further participation.”
“Notwithstanding, our loyalty remains with the party.” he added
