Victory For Akeredolu At The Supreme Court
Electoral victory of Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu has finally been validated by the Supreme court on Wednesday, July 28, 2021.
The victory of Akeredolu was sealed with a 4 to 3 decision by the
seven Supreme court justices after the necessary consideration of all issues raised.
It will be recalled that Governor has consistently secure victory from the State Election Tribunal and up to the Supreme court.
Kudos must be given to Governor Akeredolu for allowing the rule of law to run its maximal limit without resorting to any form of intimidation or shenanigan tactic.
More so, Eyitayo Jegede, SAN must likewise be commended for putting up a good fight, right from the State Election Tribunal to the Supreme court.
Above all, the Acting State Chairman of APC, Engr. Ade Adetimehin equally deserves commendation for his steadfast commitment to the cause and victory of the ruling party.
Now that the fierce legal battle has been won and lost, it is only fair
that individuals that had worked for the victory of the party, inclusive of the Acting State Chairman of APC in Ondo State should be compensated with deserved positions.
