The People’s Democratic Party Support Group invites member of the Party and the general public to the presentation of ” Award of Excellence” in honor of Prince Anthony Godday Erewa, a long standing member and chieftain of the party.
The Award of Excellence will be presented to honor Prince Anthony Godday Erewa for his immense and numerous contributions towards the growth of the. Group and the Party in the State.
Prince Anthony Godday Erewa was responsible for the rebuilding of the PDP Secretariat which was razed down by hoodlums late last year after the conduct of State Gubernatorial election.
According to the State Cordinator of the group, Bode Obanla,” Without mincing words, Prince Anthony Godday Erewa is a born technocrat, administrator, politician and entrepreneur; a round peg in a round hole who has thrown his hat into the rings in his astute resolve to immensely contribute to the development of his people. Without doubt his dogged generosity and magnanimity will continue to push his name for great honor and accolades”
This he stated during a visit to the Triangle News Media office in Akure where he discussed reasons why the group has chosen to honor Prince Anthony Godday Eruwa.
The State Cordinator of the group also added that even though the Prince Anthony Godday Erewa has been a member of the PDP in Delta State since 1998, however he has always identified with the Party in Ondo State as he is from Ilaje Local Government, Ondo State.He explained that Prince Godday had contested under the umbrella of the party, an election which he lost but he had not allowed this to deter him from showing his genuine love and loyalty to the party.
In his words,” he orchestrated the reconstruction of our party Secretariat building that got razed down during the ENDSARS protest; this good gesture of his really shows that he is a good party man and that’s why we want to honor him.”” The Party has given us the go ahead to honor him nd we want to honor him with the Award of Excellence as the most impactful member of the PDP” he added
He appreciated Prince Godday for his commitment and dedication towards the growth of the party even as he encourages him never to relent in doing good.The event is scheduled to take place on the 4th of February 2021 at the Event Hall, PDP Secretariat Bishop Fagun Road, Alagbaka Akure.
