THE EXIT OF ICONS; SUNSET AT NOON.

I received with rude shock, the untimely passage of my beloved friends to the great beyond.
I was dumbfounded and could still not recover from the disturbing news of your painful exit; Engr. Dele Osakuade and Hon. Idowu Adesoye.
You were both a complete gentle men who contributed immensely to the development of Ondo State and Nigeria at large. You were a great community leaders with passion for human and community development.
I can vividly recollect the good times and eventful moments I shared with Hon. Idowu Adesoye when we both served as Chairman of our respective Local Government.
As the Chairman of Association of Local Government of Nigeria, (ALGON), Ondo State, you gave me your unalloyed support and useful advice which contributed immensely to a successful tenure while I held sway as the Chairman of Chairmen.
There is no gainsaying that Engr. Dele Osakuade was a shining example of a great leader with humility and dedication to service in all ramifications. His simplicity and generosity cannot be quantified.
I am indeed pained that we lost both of you into the cold arm of death at this critical time and at a prime age. Your death has left a bitter pill in my mouth. My heart is heavy and I cannot hold back the tears that roll in my eyes.
I wish to commiserate with the immediate families of Engr. Osakuade and Adesoye, the good people of Ilara and Ondo State in general for this irreparable loss.
You have diligently run the race, You have made your mark and you have taken a bow biding this sinful world a goodbye.
You will be greatly missed for your great contribution to our great party. You were both a rallying point and a symbol of unity. There is no doubt that you have left a great vacuum too difficult for us to fill.
My Dear Friends, you have fought a good fight of faith. You came, you saw and you conquered.
“O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?”
However, we have consolation in Christ, we are not like them who have no hope. We shall meet again at the Lord’s feet on the resurrection morning.
Continue to rest in the bosom of our Lord Jesus Christ till we meet to part no more.
Adieu my great friends.
