At the heart of Tinubu’s philanthropic efforts is the Noella Foundation, named after his daughter. The foundation has been instrumental in advancing girl-child education, healthcare, youth empowerment, and poverty alleviation. One of its flagship programs, the Seyi Tinubu Empowerment Project (STEP), has provided numerous Nigerian youths with employment opportunities, technological skill acquisition, and mentorship. His recent trip to Kano for a polo tournament sparked controversy when he arrived in a presidential jet, leading to criticism from opposition groups. Yet, security experts pointed out that, as the son of Nigeria’s President, his movements are subject to high-level security protocols, a standard practice for children of world leaders. Despite the backlash, Tinubu remained undeterred, continuing to focus on his broader mission of social development.
